Greenhouse prioritises energy efficiency as a design choice: a PUE of less than 1.2, 100% green electricity and a WUE of 0.5 L/kWh. For us, efficiency is a measurable fact, not a marketing claim — it reduces both your costs and our carbon footprint.
Our PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) is below 1.2, averaged over a year — well below the Dutch data centre average. A low PUE means that a large proportion of the energy goes to your IT and very little is lost to overheads.
Yes. All our data centres run on 100% green electricity. Combined with our low PUE, this results in a demonstrably energy-efficient environment.
Our WUE (Water Usage Effectiveness) is 0.5 L/kWh. This means low water consumption per kilowatt-hour, thanks to efficient cooling systems.
We use state-of-the-art cooling systems and N+1 cooling redundancy, designed for efficiency. As we manage the cooling entirely in-house, we are able to continuously optimise both reliability and energy consumption.
Yes. Greenhouse is ISO 14001 certified, the standard for environmental management. This means that, for us, sustainability is a controlled, structured process rather than a vague aspiration.
